Content Repurposing

When you create content in one format, especially a great content, you always have an option to repurpose the content by converting it to another format. The import of this is that if you have written an article about a certain topic, you could create a video, an infographic or a presentation using the same content. This strategy is employed in content marketing primarily because it helps tremendously in expanding your reach of your leads and gaining new link-building opportunities.
You must be mindful of certain things when you engage in content repurposing:
1. Make sure the content is current: You must ensure that the content you intend to repurpose is still current. There are no two ways about it. The content needs to be evergreen to be reusable. The topic of the content must still be valuable and usable.
2. Take a look at what is popular: A content marketer must keep his or her ears to the ground. You must be mindful of what is popular, and what is making waves, so that the repurposing can be worth the time and efforts.
